Conde Explorers

The Conde Explorers was founded in 2004 and was able to get a parade permit in 2005.

According to the group's web site, "The Conde Explorers became the first integrated Mardi Gras society to parade in downtown Mobile. ... In addition to its parade and ball, the Conde Explorers hold several parties throughout the year, and its members perform volunteer work."

Recently, the Explorers have been purchasing floats, and they recently broke ground on their own float barn.

The Explorers will roll on February 16 after the Pharaohs with four of their own floats and their emblem float, in addition to about seven floats rented from the Conde Cavaliers.
